It’s a little strange to think that I only discovered Mariska this year. It was around May or June, I think. I feel like she’s been a part of me for much longer than that, because Mariska helped me to find a little piece of myself. I still have no idea who I am. It’s a process, I suppose, and one that I’m still going through. But Olivia Benson, and more importantly Mariska Hargitay, have been a part of that process. She’ll always have a special place in my heart for what she’s taught me about the world, about other people, and about myself. ♥
